I spent my whole day driving to Montgomery Alabama from NC. Midway through the trip, I had to stop off at my uncle's house in Marietta GA to deliver a rug and some plates from my grandma. In order to get to his house, you have to cross over a dam, and it just so happened that today, the lake was far higher than usual, and the dam was under about 8-10 inches of water. My 5 day old Outback plowed right on through the water without a problem. Had I been in my Elantra, I probably would have hydrolocked it.
I couldn't get a pic, so here is one of another 2015 Outback in it's natural habitat.

I certainly will. It felt great going through the fairly deep water.

My first time crossing a deep creek in my OB made me feel like a BAU5. So much fun.
Glad you're enjoying the Subie!

I'm just waiting for the snow to arrive in NC and then the Joobaru will be in it's natural habitat.

Thanks. I used your advise from Wednesday to: "give that AWD a damn good use." way sooner than I was planning to.

The new Outback interiors are so nice, too. Big improvement from the last generation.
